Pryce of Conceit
Arabella Pryce can speak to the dead. Unfortunately, the living keep getting murdered.
Colorado, 1885. After her late husband’s will leaves her a grand frontier hotel in the small town of La Plata Springs, former stage star Arabella Pryce has exactly one goal: survive the year required to claim her inheritance and return to New York.
Running a hotel in the Wild West wasn’t part of the plan.
Neither was murder.
Pryce of Deceit
Every wedding has drama. This one has a dead groom.
La Plata Springs, Colorado, 1885. Arabella Pryce is finally settling into life as the reluctant owner of the Arabella Hotel.
When her friend Eliza Swindon’s wedding day arrives, Arabella expects champagne, flowers, and a happy couple riding off into the sunset.
Instead, the groom turns up dead in his carriage—with a mysterious calling card pinned to his lapel.
Pryce of Greed
A winter festival is meant to bring a town together. In La Plata Springs, it brings murder.
La Plata Springs, Colorado, 1885. Arabella Pryce has almost grown used to life as the reluctant owner of the Arabella Hotel. Unfortunately, the town’s Winter Festival—an obligation buried deep in her late husband’s will—means she’s suddenly responsible for hosting half the town.
Arabella expects music, dancing, and plenty of gossip.
She doesn’t expect one of the festival’s most prominent guests to plunge from a second-story window.
Pryce of Ambition
The show must go on. But someone just killed the leading man.
La Plata Springs, Colorado, 1886. Arabella Pryce is still adjusting to life as the owner of the Arabella Hotel.
Just when things begin to settle down, a traveling theater troupe arrives in town—along with Arabella’s estranged mother, who just happens to be running the show.
Then the troupe’s leading actor is found shot dead in the warehouse theater.
Pryce of Pride
The Cultural and Historic Festival brings scholars, artifacts… and one very inconvenient murder.
La Plata Springs, Colorado, 1886. Arabella Pryce is nearing the end of the year she promised to manage the Arabella Hotel. Soon she can return to New York and the glamorous life she left behind.
All she has to do is survive a few more weeks.
Then the town’s Cultural and Historic Festival arrives.
With visiting historians, heated debates over sacred artifacts, and half the town arguing about the past, the festival is already lively.
Until one of the guest scholars is found dead in his hotel suite.
